Dear colleagues aeromodellers,

Lots of changes are waiting at Baltic Cup 2011. Firstly may be you have already noticed that our friend Rolandas Mackus, who has organized all previous Baltic Cup tournaments, gave the opportunity for us to make 11th Baltic cup competition and make an enjoyable weekend not only for him but for all Baltic cup competitors.

Baltic cup 2011 is separated from Estonian Cup because we preferred to make competitions more stronger. Baltic cup will be held in two days – Saturday for the F-1-A, F-1-Q classes and Sunday for the F-1-B and F-1-C. It lets for us to make seven tours for all classes and gives opportunity for the competitors to take place in separate classes with no rush.

Due to competition will take two days there is possibility to have Time Keepers from the competitors of other classes. If the competitor is flying on Saturday only and he would like to be a Time Keeper on Sunday or vice versa the Starting Fee will be returned for him. So if you prefer to help us with Time Keeping please inform us in your registration letter and you will have a chance to take a part in competition for free.

The Baltic cup is moved form the May to July – the most beautiful time of the year in Lithuania. It gives opportunity for you to visit our historical towns Vilnius and Trakai, to have not only competition but holiday as well. It also gaves us opportunity to organize Camping place for the competitors which would help in saving some money on accommodation and most importantly – giving the possibility to have an enjoyable evenings for all competitors in one place. At the moment we have few options to choose from but the final decision about the Camping place will depend on the number of competitors willing to stay there.

Our new sponsor “Baltic Aviation Academy” (www.balticaa.com) are willing to make the Team scoring. “Baltic Aviation Academy” Cups and sponsor prizes will be given for three best teams of the competition. The team should consist of four competitors no matter what class they are representing. The team might consist of the competitors from the same country or town, representatives of the same aeromodelling club, or even representatives of their own sponsor company. Teams should be registered by email or before the the flying day during competitor registration.

Dear friends, we invite all competitors to take part in “Baltic cup 2011” with free flight (F-1-A, F-1-B, F-1-C, F-1-Q) models. Competition will be organized according to the FAI Sporting Code rules, section 1-4 and is incorporated in the FAI World Cup Contest Calendar 2011. Winners of the first three places in individual scoring in all classes will be awarded with cups and diplomas. “Baltic Aviation Academy” Cups and sponsor prizes will be given for three best teams of the competition. We remind that participants must hold a valid FAI aeromodelling license.
